Meeks Park in Blairsville, Georgia: A Hidden Gem

Meeks Park is a county park located in Blairsville, GA we found while searching for a disc golf course in North Georgia. It is truly a gem, is well maintained, and offers amenities for everyone. There are three different sections: Meeks 1, Meeks 2, and a dog park. The disc golf course was beautiful for a fall day and meandered through both wooded and open areas (it was a little hard to follow at times but manageable). There are nice walking trails, a grist mill, Butternut Creek, and the Nottely River (fishing and kayak/canoeing available). This is one of the better county parks I have been to and will be back to explore it further.
