The Glory Hole Falls Trail is dog friendly, features the waterfall pictured above, and is a 1.8 mile roundtrip hike. It is rated as easy to moderate-a gradual downhill hike to the falls and an uphill return. Parking is free. We visited in early fall when the water level is low, but even then the waterfall and hike was very scenic. This trailhead is located on Highway 16/21 between Fallsville and Edwards Junction. We were able to locate this trailhead by entering Glory Hole Falls Trailhead into Waze.

Note: we discovered that for the most part, you will be exploring all around here without cell service. We found it necessary to plan our route and stops in advance. We had to use our vehicle GPS system at times. We were unable to look up nearby points of interest once we left for a day, so what we had already planned was all we could do unless we paid attention and stopped places we just happened to drive by. Exploring this area is amazing but prepare well, it definitely takes some advanced planning!
