Jekyll Island-home of Driftwood Beach (rated 5th most romantic beach in the world), windswept trees, and is one of the more quiet and peaceful locations in Georgia. It is also home to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, and education. This the only sea turtle rehabilitation center in Georgia. Hours of operation are daily 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (the center is currently requiring timed entry admission and recommend purchasing tickets in advance).
